Meet Dr. Pressley, she is a dynamic speaker, Licensed as a Professional Counselor in Maryland, Virginia and Alabama (Telemental sessions only). Certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki Certified and Wellness Consultant. She has been an advocate for Mental Health and Wellness field for over 18 years. Her areas of expertise include; wellness, self-care, stress, life changes, adolescent development, and professional ethics. Self-care and overall mental health/wellness is her primary focus. She is focus on encouraging and empowering females to take care of themselves. Also, coming from an athletic and their family she focuses on helping individuals involved in sports.
To achieve optimal wellness, one must apply it towards every aspect of life. You can apply a wellness approach towards your environment, community, career, belief systems, physical activities, self care, healthy eating, self esteem, and creative activities. Applying wellness in your everyday life will allow you to achieve your full potential and live with passion and purpose. Also helping to address anxiety, re-engagement after an injury, spousal relationship, family relationships while involved in sports.
